Alexander Pavlovsky is the founding member and first violinist of the world famous The Jerusalem Quartet, has established a reputation as a highly accomplished chamber musician, soloist and pedagogue.

Mr. Pavlovsky was born in Kiev, Ukraine and immigrated with his family to Israel in 1991. He is a graduate of all branches of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance – the Conservatory and the Academy where he was a student of Professor Matvey Liberman, and a follower of the school of the pre-eminent violinist David Oistrakh.

Alexander is a well known and experienced performer from early youth, performing solo and chamber music on the world’s most prestigious stages.

The Zeister Music Days Foundation organizes this chamber music festival, on the one hand with concerts and side programming and on the other hand with an extensive and intensive talent development program. Since 2009, the festival has been under the artistic direction of  Alexander Pavlovsky , first violinist of the world-famous Jerusalem Quartet.
